INTO TOURS – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Introduction
1.1 By confirming your booking with Into Country Tours Pty Ltd (trading as Into Tours), a registered South African tour operator led by Janina and Gary Parker, you agree to adhere to the following Terms and Conditions.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, tours, safaris, packages, and services offered by Into Tours, including private, group, and cruise-related excursions.
1.3 It is the client’s responsibility to read, understand, and accept these Terms prior to making a booking.

2.8 Into Tours is a legally compliant South African tour operator, specialising in curated tours, safaris, and excursions. We adhere to all licensing, vehicle, guide, and insurance regulations.
2.9 SATSA Membership (number: 3200)ensures clients peace of mind, with annual governance, financial, and insurance audits.
3. Definitions
3.1 Into Tours / Our / Us / The Company: Refers to Into Country Tours Pty Ltd.
3.2 Client / Guest/ Customer / Agent: Any person making or included in a booking. All clients are jointly and severally liable for their obligations under these Terms.
3.3 Trip / Tour / Safari / Excursion: Any service, experience, or activity arranged or offered by Into Tours or its partners.
3.4 Quotation: A formal estimate or pro-forma invoice detailing services, inclusions, prices and payment terms.
3.5 Services: Includes transport, guides, safaris, accommodation, entrance fees, meals, and other arrangements.
3.6 Supplier(s): Third-party providers engaged for specific services.
3.7 You / Your: The client(s) or guest(s) named in the booking.
3.8 Tour Fare: The total price payable for the booked Tour, including applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise specified.
3.9 Force Majeure: Any event beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.
3.10 Domicilium: The legal address nominated by the Company or Client for receiving official notices.
3.11 Website: The official Into Tours website through which bookings and payments may be made.
4. Booking & Contract
4.1 Booking Methods: All bookings must be made through the official Into Tours online booking form, email, WhatsApp, authorised online platforms, or agencies.
4.2 Rates and Contract Confirmation:
4.2.1 Advertised rates are valid until February 2026. Rates may be adjusted due to supplier costs, fuel prices, currency fluctuations, or other factors beyond our control.
4.2.2 A valid contract exists only after Into Tours confirms the booking in writing and receives a deposit or full payment.
4.3 Accommodation:
4.3.1 Accommodation rates are per person sharing, unless otherwise specified.
4.3.2 Accommodation is subject to availability. We will make every reasonable effort to provide the same accommodation for all guests, but this cannot be guaranteed.
4.3.3 Refunds for accommodation are subject to the service provider’s terms. Where possible, cancellation terms will be provided at or before the time of booking.
4.4 Blogs, Suggestions, and Recommendations:
4.4.1 Into Tours may provide blogs, newsletters, or recommendations for accommodations, activities, or services.
4.4.2 All recommendations are for informational purposes only. Clients are responsible for their choices, and Into Tours cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience resulting from following recommendations or using third-party services.
4.5 Inclusions and Additional Costs:
4.5.1 Standard fares include transportation, a registered guide, bottled water, and specified meals unless stated otherwise.
4.5.2 Additional costs such as entrance fees, optional activities, or other extras are either charged separately or included in the quotation.
4.6 Amendments: Into Tours reserves the right to amend these Terms, rates, and service offerings at any time without prior notice.
5. How to Book
5.1 Visit www.intotours.co.za to view featured trips, destinations, and tour types. Use the menu dropdown to see pre-designed tours and safaris. Click Book Now to view trip details, availability, and make secure payments through WeTravel. Deposits can be paid via credit card.
5.2 Alternatively, direct enquiries can be sent via the Contact Us popup or email [email protected] or send us a WhatsApp.
5.3 Complete all booking forms accurately, including full names, contact details, pickup location, and passport information if applicable.
5.4 A 20% deposit secures your booking; the balance is due at least 7 days before travel unless otherwise agreed.
5.5 Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and EFT, processed securely via WeTravel.
5.6 Failure to pay by the deadline may result in cancellation.
6. Pick-Up & Transport
6.1 Pick-up may be arranged from airports, ports, hotels, or guesthouses within designated areas.
6.2 Additional charges apply for pick-ups outside main areas, communicated prior to booking.
6.3 Clients must be ready at the agreed time, typically 10 minutes before departure.
6.4 Delays caused by clients are not compensated; departures proceed as scheduled. For private tours, times are flexible, but Into Tours is not responsible for missed activities or refunds due to late arrivals.
6.5 Into Tours vehicles are fully insured, including passenger liability coverage.
7. Payment & Refunds
7.1 A deposit is required to secure bookings; full payment may be requested depending on the booking date.
7.2 Cancellation refunds:
More than 6 weeks before: 20% fee
4–6 weeks before: 50% fee
2–4 weeks before: 80% fee
Less than 7 days/no-show: No refund
7.3 Refunds are processed minus administrative fees at the discretion of Into Tours.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1 All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email [email protected].
8.2 Payments to suppliers (accommodation, activities, etc.) are subject to their cancellation policies and may be non-refundable.
8.3 Force majeure events (natural disasters, civil unrest, extreme weather) may lead to tour cancellations or rescheduling, with no liability for refunds beyond the original booking.
8.4 Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and additional costs.
9. Group Sizes & Vehicle Capacity
9.1 Shared tours host 2–10 participants; larger groups may use minibuses or coaches, with arrangements up to 60+ participants.
9.2 Special rates may apply for groups exceeding 10 travellers. Organisers may travel free depending on group size.
9.3 Solo travellers may join group tours; if unavailable, the tour becomes private and charges the two-person rate.
9.4 Vehicle assignment is at the discretion of Into Tours; specific requests are subject to availability.
10. Itinerary Changes
10.1 Itineraries may be modified for safety, operational, or logistical reasons.
10.2 Clients will be informed of significant changes as soon as possible.
10.3 Force majeure events release Into Tours from liability for alterations or cancellations.
11. Authority on Tour & Conduct
11.1 Guides and drivers make operational and safety decisions.
11.2 Clients must follow instructions at all times.
11.3 Illegal, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal at client expense, without refund.
11.4 The company may cancel a booking if a client causes inconvenience or annoyance.
12. Medical & Health Requirements
12.1 Clients must be in good health.
12.2 Pre-existing conditions must be disclosed; medical certificates may be required.
12.3 Allergies, dietary requirements, or mobility restrictions must be communicated in advance; additional costs may apply.
12.4 Clients must comply with health protocols, including pandemic regulations.
12.5 Vaccinations, prophylaxis (e.g., malaria), and other precautions are the client’s responsibility.
12.6 Into Tours accepts no liability for medical emergencies from non-disclosure or failure to comply.
13. Travel Documents
13.1 Valid passports with sufficient blank pages are required.
13.2 Visas, permits, and other documentation are the client’s responsibility.
13.3 Minors must provide birth certificates and parental consent where applicable.
13.4 No refunds are offered for incomplete or invalid documentation.
14. Insurance
14.1 Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory, covering injury, illness, luggage loss, and cancellations.
14.2 Clients arrange their own insurance.
14.3 Into Tours is not liable for uninsured events.
15. Liability & Indemnity
15.1 Tours may involve inherent risks, including wildlife interactions and outdoor activities.
15.2 The company, employees, guides, and agents are not responsible for personal loss, damage, injury, accident, death, delay, or inconvenience.
15.3 Clients assume full responsibility for actions and agree to follow company instructions.
15.4 Clients waive rights to legal recourse against Into Country Tours Pty Ltd, its employees, guides, suppliers, or agents.
15.5 Clients indemnify Into Tours against claims, damages, or legal costs resulting from participation.
15.6 Participation is voluntary and at the client’s own risk.
16. Minors and Children (Under 18 years)
16.1 Minors must be accompanied and supervised at all times.
16.2 Child rates apply to children under 12 unless otherwise specified.
16.3 Children six and above may participate in open vehicle safaris where permitted.
16.4 Booster seats are provided upon request.
16.5 Guardians are responsible for supervision and compliance.
16.6 No alcohol or adult content is served to minors.
17. Shore Excursions & Cruise Guests
17.1 Tours align with ship docking times; clients must provide accurate schedules.
17.2 Itineraries may be adjusted to accommodate cruise schedules; no refunds for ship-related delays.
17.3 Into Tours is not liable for missed tours due to cruise delays.
18. Meeting Points & Reminders
18.1 Reminder messages with meeting location and time will be sent prior to the tour.
18.2 Clients should be ready at least 5 minutes before departure.
19. Photography & Media Use
19.1 Into Tours may photograph or film clients for promotional purposes.
19.2 Participation implies consent to such use without compensation.
19.3 All media content is the intellectual property of Into Tours; reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
20.1 These Terms are governed by South African law.
20.2 Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
20.3 The English version prevails in case of disagreement.
21. Severability
21.1 If any provision is illegal or unenforceable, the remainder remains valid. Excessive provisions will be adjusted to the maximum permissible level.
22. Indemnity & Client Responsibility
22.1 Clients acknowledge and accept these Terms, including assumption of risks.
22.2 Clients waive claims against Into Tours, guides, employees, and agents.
22.3 Additional waivers or indemnity forms may be required on-site.
23. Gratuities
23.1 Tipping is voluntary; approximately 10% is customary for exceptional service.
24. Booking Confirmation & Acceptance
24.1 Confirming a booking constitutes automatic acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

25. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
25.1 Complaints should be directed to [email protected].
25.2 Disputes are handled amicably in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.
26. Customer Privacy
26.1 Personal information is protected in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).

27. Vehicles & Insurance
27.1 All vehicles used for tours are fully insured, with passenger liability and in some cases general public liability coverage.
27.2 Vehicle assignments are at Into Tours’ discretion and subject to availability.
28. Domicilium Citandi et Executandi
28.1 Clients’ domicilium address for all legal purposes is the address provided in the booking form.
28.2 Into Tours’ domicilium for notices is: 11 Kestell Street, Parsonshill, Port Elizabeth, 6001.
29. Miscellaneous
29.1 Into Tours may provide blogs, newsletters, or recommendations for accommodations, activities, or services. All recommendations are advisory; clients are responsible for their decisions and actions. Into Tours cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from following recommendations or using third-party services.
29.2 All rates, itineraries, and bookings are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.
29.3 All bookings and communications are subject to Errors & Omissions Excepted (E&OE).
