We had an amazing days excursion which started with a boat trip down the Sunday's river, an exploration of the sand dunes, a delicious braai in the Boma in Addo followed by an amazing & very informative game drive with our guide Gary. 5 Sterne – Unvergessliche Safari mit Into Tours und Guide Luk!

Meine Safari mit Into Tours war einfach atemberaubend schön – ein Erlebnis, das ich nie vergessen werde. Ich war alleine unterwegs, aber mit meinem Guide Luk an meiner Seite habe ich mich vom ersten Moment an bestens aufgehoben gefühlt.

Luk war nicht nur mega freundlich und sympathisch, sondern auch extrem kompetent. Er hat mir jedes Tier, das wir gesehen haben, in Ruhe erklärt, spannende Infos geteilt und all meine Fragen mit echtem Fachwissen beantwortet. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie er ständig mit anderen Guides in Kontakt war, um die besten Spots zu finden – dadurch haben wir immer wieder neue, faszinierende Tiere entdeckt.

Das absolute Highlight des Tages war dann der Moment, als wir mitten in einer riesigen Herde von etwa 40 Elefanten standen – sie waren ganz nah ums Auto herum! Und mittendrin: Zebras, die ganz entspannt mitgezogen sind. Dieser Anblick war einfach magisch und hat mich komplett geflasht.

Es war ein unglaublich schöner, emotionaler und eindrucksvoller Tag. Luk hat alles gegeben, damit ich die bestmögliche Safari erleben kann – und das hat er mit Bravour geschafft.

We recently had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional day tour with Addo Tours during our stop in Port Elizabeth as part of the MSC Magnifica World Cruise. Our group of 18 guests was treated to a memorable safari experience, complete with numerous animal sightings and a beautiful braai lunch at a charming restaurant nestled within the park.

Addo Tours is a locally owned and operated company, led by a wonderful couple who are both highly organized and incredibly communicative. Despite unexpected delays due to customs and immigration clearance, the team waited patiently for us and still ensured we had ample time to enjoy the tour. Their flexibility and commitment to delivering a great experience did not go unnoticed.

Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also brought great energy and personality to the day. The tour was conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned van—perfect for the South African climate—and every detail was handled with care.

We wholeheartedly recommend Addo Tours to anyone visiting Port Elizabeth for the day. It’s a fantastic way to explore the park, learn about local wildlife, and enjoy warm, professional hospitality. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

• Port Elizabeth Shore Excursion: Addo Elephant National Park Safari

We booked a private full day tour with Elda (and the driver Willy) in Cape Town and had a wonderful day! We took the Chapman’s peak road, went to see the African penguins at Boulder’s beach and did the whole tour + wine tasting at Groot Constantia. Everything was lovely and Elda made it really interesting - sharing a lot of information and anecdotes.
Both our guide and driver were really accommodating so we were able to adjust the tour a little bit to our liking and they left us at Camps Bay on our request.
Really recommend to book a tour with this company!

Es war ein wunderbarer Ausflug mit unserem Guide Luk - sehr zu empfehlen. Wir wurden am Hafen abgeholt und rechtzeitig wieder zurück gebracht. Das Insiderwissen unseres Guides war top ! Der Braai war lecker, wir haben viele Tiere gesehen. Danke für den wunderschönen Tag im Addo National Park.

Elvis, our guide, came to pick us up at home. Kind and friendly from the very beginning, he told us about his experience and the life of the animals in Addo National Park. He managed to find 3 of the Big 5 for us, allowing us to get very close to the animals and observe them for a long time. If you want to take a tour in this reserve, I highly recommend Into Tours and King Elvis. A truly special day. Thank you.

Hello Gary,
our day with Shaheedah was simply wonderful. We received a friendly welcome and agreed on our time slot with her. On our drive to Addo Park, we received a lot of information about culture and the economy.
In the park itself, we drove not only along the main trails but also along smaller paths and were pointed out the animals.
We can honestly say we saw quite a lot. Time was also not an issue, so we didn't feel under pressure. Thanks to Shaheedahs friendly and open manner. A truly successful day. Thank you for that!

Steven and I had the distinct opportunity to spend a bucket list experience with Gary as our guide at Addi Elephant Park. I have no doubt that Gary is THE most experienced and knowledgeable guide in South Africa for that park. His keen awareness of the flora and fauna is nothing short of amazing... you'll find that he instinctively will take you to the locations where you'll see the park's impressive animals up close and personal.... to experience one or two of the "big five" in a single outing is amazing.... Gary managed to introduce us to three of the five.... including two massive lion brothers! All in all, we left the day with photos and videos of dozens of species of animals and knowledge of the insects, flora and culture of the vast Addo reserve. Can't thank and recommend Gary highly enough....once you learn how he has dedicated his life to saving the most vulnerable humans through his nonprofit, you will be even more impressed. 5+ Stars!

Our group of 8 passengers enjoyed a great day provided by Into tours from Port Elizabeth. Highlights were the Addo Elephant park and especially the lovely lunch provided by Janinie. All in all a terrific day provided by a very professional company. Thanks again to our guide
