Amazing Addo Guide

We had an incredible day in Addo National Park with them. The lunch offered by them inside the park was simply awesome. As a company , we found them very professional. Their communications were great. We recommend them to all.

We must make a special mention of the guide, Gary. He made extra efforts to show us the animals. His knowledge base on South African wildlife is great.

Top Exkursion: Safari & Cape Recife

Top!!

🇿🇦🇬🇧 “Our trip to Port Elizabeth and the safari in Nyosi Park was a highlight, thanks to our wonderful guide Janina. With lots of fun, plenty of information, and an adventurous safari in the Nyosi Wildlife Reserve, this excursion comes highly recommended. The grand finale was the lighthouse at Cape Recife Nature Reserve, surrounded by stunning white sand dunes. We learned so much about the land and the people. Absolutely top-notch!!”

Day Tour Cape Town - Onboard Arcadia Cruise Ship

We did the Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape Point Trip.
The guide Debbie was brilliant. Really knowledgeable about the area and pointed out lots of interesting views and facts as well were travelling from one place to another.
On the way to the penguins we passed a rock formation at Hout Bay known as locally as sleeping rhino mountain- and you could see why.
The penguins were really cute and some were so still i did wonder whether they were statues at one point! But they weren’t.
We took the funicular up to the lighthouse at Cape Point (the last part is a lot of steps, so i didn’t do that part). The views were again fantastic with waves crashing onto the rocks far below our vantage point.
We then journeyed on to Cape of Good Hope where we saw seals basking on the rocks, despite the huge waves crashing over them!
Then it was a 75 min drive back to Cape Town and our trip up Table Mountain. The cable car up to Table Mountain was an experience as the floor rotated so that everyone saw everything. The views from the top were amazing- we were lucky enough to have a clear day.
The coach had great aircon and the driver even had a wooden step for the less able of us to get in and out of the coach.

Moments Our Guests Loved in Cape Town

We had a fantastic day with Jacques(James). He arrived at our hotel in good time and was very knowledgeable about the whole area and its history. His local knowledge proved invaluable as he was able to advise us as to the best order for us to see the sights on our list. We can’t believe how much we managed to see in one day, Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, penguins and baboons were some of our highlights. We also enjoyed an unexpected visit to Cape Point vineyard for a wine tasting- a beautiful place for a short break in our busy itinerary. Thanks also to Jacques for advice on where to shop, must see and must eat experiences during our stay.

Traveller Stories from Garden Route & Beyond WeTravel

When we think back on this trip that ended a few days ago, there are images that flash up like a cinema reel: Whales surfacing in Walker's Bay, the light on the lime-green fynbos and jewel like flowers with wonderful scents in Grootbos reserve; also the rhinoceros and her baby that stood behind her for protection in Gondwana Private Game reserve. Also not to forget the penguins of Boulder's bay and the crashing waves of Tsitsikamma. There are too many moments of delight to count. Most of all we were lucky to have as our guide, Nina who was so full of life and passion for the trip. She explained a lot about the sights we passed on the road, and was as excited as we were to be exploring the Garden Route. Some of our best memories will be talking and laughing with Nina, having a coffee or listening to music in the car. Many thanks to Nina and Gary of Into Tours for all the work and effort they put into our trip.
