An individual tour with a visit to Kragga Kamma and a hike along Sacramento Trail
I took English lessons at BLI (Bay Language Institute) in Port Elizabeth where I met Janina for the very first time.
She did a guided city tour for some of the students during one afternoon.

After this city tour I decided to book Janina as my tour guide for the following Saturday!
Our plan was to spend one day with exploring Port Elizabeth Area including wildlife and some hike.

Janina picked me up at 9 a.m. in her new and very comfortable van.
At first we drove to Kragga Kamma where we were lucky to see the cheetas get fed.
Kragga Kamma is a Game Park where the animals don’t hunt their prey.

Afterwards, we drove to the Grass Roof Restaurant where we ate an excellent lunch for very reasonable prices.
The crazy milkshakes looked very, very delicious!

In the early afternoon we walked along the beach that is located below the Sacramento Cannon.
Our drive back to Port Elizabeth was along the coastline.

Time flew by and Janina dropped me at my place at around 5 p.m.

I had a wonderful but also relaxed day. I enjoyed not following a fixed timetable all day long.
And what a big surprise! I saw Janina again in Addo Elephant National Park on the following day with another group of travelers.

Date of experience: January 2019
